What is the best skill?
The SS skills. By the numbers on their cards, Abyss Cleave hits hardest (900% total, 8.5s cooldown), then Wavebreak Slash (700%, 7s). The ItzVexo guide recommends Abyss Cleave and Golden Collapse first, then Endless Gale, Wavebreak Slash or Blazing Pierce.
Can I buy skills?
No. Skills only come attached to forged weapons; the Skill Index records the ones you have owned. The Starter Pack advertises a "high chance of good skill" weapon, but it is still a weapon.
Does the skill change with the weapon?
Yes, the skill belongs to the weapon. Bone Carver, for example, carries a B-grade dash (320%, 5.5s).
